Parish Picnic Committee
The St. Francis de Sales community celebrates parish life at our annual picnic. Held in early September, the picnic begins with an outdoor Mass followed by a day of delicious food, great music, fun and games for the kids and fellowship. Social Justice Committee
Mission Statement: The mission of the Social Justice Committee is to serve the parish as its primary resource and catalyst for the work of Social Justice. Meetings: The committee is currently meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 P.M. in the Parish Center. Use the Main Outreach Entrance. St. Matthew's Society
A dedicated group of parishioners who diligently count the collections from the weekend masses. Our volunteers make sure every dollar is counted and documented. To help out, contact Donna McBride at 475-0161.
Rosary Altar Society
Honoring our Blessed Mother is the main objective of this group of women. Members attend our weekly 9:00 A.M. Mass and stay after for the recitation of the Rosary. To learn more, contact President, Terry Bobe at 475-0161.
Knights of Columbus
This is a Catholic men's fraternal charitable organization formed to render financial aid to members, their families and the community. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. This is a Catholic ladies' organization designed to work with the Knights of Columbus. We have a viable group of Columbiettes who are always looking for new members. For more information, contact President, Rose Ventiere at 289-0302.
Teams of Our Lady
Teams of Our Lady is part of a worldwide organization within the Church that encourages Catholic family spirituality. The team consists of married couples who meet monthly to share a meal together and to share their own experiences of trying to live out their Catholic faith with their families. The group follows daily prayer responsibilities, as well as communication suggestions within the family. Every other year the group spends a weekend at Weston, Vermont enjoying each other's company and prayer at the Priory. Deacon Marty McIndoe serves as Chaplain to the group. A Novel Idea Book Club
Join us as we discuss the latest best sellers. Our group meets every four to six weeks in our Parish Center at 7:30PM. The discussions are lively, ins, insightful and fun and there's always refreshments on hand.
